Marachi, a collective of dedicated
smallholder farms, mills their coffee at
the renowned Finca Monte Azul in the
Southernmost coffee-growing region of
Mexico, Chiapas. This region boasts an
ideal climate and high altitudes that
create perfect conditions for the
cultivation of mild, sweet coffee that
embodies the essence of this remarkable
land.
Our coffee, grown between 1,200 and
1,600 meters above sea level, thrives in
the rich volcanic soils of Chiapas, while
the gentle climate nurtures the coffee
cherries. Primarily of Bourbon and Caturra varieties, these cherries undergo
meticulous processing through the washed method, ensuring a pristine and clean
cup that reflects the unique terroir of Chiapas.

farming. The Organic certification ensures that the coffee is cultivated without the
use of synthetic fertilizers or chemicals, preserving the natural richness of the soil
